February 18, 2020Our ship, USS Nathan James. Based on a fictional ship from TV Series "The Last Ship" who is saving the world with lots of action and drama. I really liked that series so I wanted to have an item of it in my house. I will do my best to replicate her.2

February 18, 2020Deck fits excellently. One of my best fitting decks so far.11
February 18, 2020Also this Masker bents will be removed and extended all the way down to the hull12
February 18, 2020USS Halsey as christened, 2005.13
February 18, 2020USS Halsey in 2012. Series started in 2014 so it had that aft Phalanx.14
February 18, 2020You can see it in background. In foreground our CO Chandler and XO Slattery.15
February 18, 2020Forrest Sherman kit lacks the aft Phalanx platform. So I used front platform which come as an extra piece with this kit and modified it to fit as an aft CIWS platform16
February 18, 2020Not bad17
February 18, 2020Liked that. Also you can see that I have sanded the hull. The sonar needs another putty-run
