You're up to some serious kitbashing. That roof looks like it really came from a scrap yard. 🙁

Actually, the two kits are the same. Revell reissued many of the old Aurora kits. There is somewhat of an urban legend that the last load of molds from Aurora were on their way to Revell when the train carrying them derailed, destroying the molds forever. This is supposed to be why we have never seen reissues of certain Aurora kits, such as their set of 1/72 general aviation aircraft (Jet Commander, Piper Cherokee, Piper Aztec are a few). The plastic is pretty much the same. The main difference is that in the Revell issue, they shot the sprue containing the engine block in black plastic as opposed to the chromed over black plastic of the Aurora issue. Started this kit last year, but just getting the album up to date. Went to post an update the other night and realized I had only put 1 picture in. Haven't been keeping up with posting pics here as much lately.

Well, looking at the pictures, that rear body part could have been in that same train wreck! 😄 Good to know you didn't have to cobble together the front and rear parts but could simply use the same parts coming from different boxings.

Album info
This build is ending up a hybrid of the original Aurora kit with a newer Revell offering because the Aurora kit was missing some pieces. Also the body on the Aurora offering was warped where the roof is.
