OOB build of F-16 with SEAD weapons load

F-16CJ 52nd Fighter Wing Spandelheim Germany 2005

Out of box build of the 1/72 Academy F-16CG/CJ. The FS fighter wing uses the F-16CJ in the SEAD role after the retirement of the F-4G. It is equipped with a HTS pod to detect hostile radars to target the HARM anti radar missile. I loaded this one with an qsymmetric load of one HARM and a GBU-31 JDAM which is also used to target anti aircraft installations.In most SEAD missions aircraft are normally paired with one armed with 2 HARMs and the other with 2 JDAMs.
It is also equipped with two towed decoy systems, an ALQ-184 ECM pod, 2 AIM 120 and 2 AIM 9x air to air missiles

The model was finished using Vallejo Air acrylics in the traditional F-16 scheme of medium gray FS36270 and Gunship gray FS36118 with my new Neoeco airbrush. The aircraft was marked using the kit decals and weathered with Flory dark dirt.
