Roland SachsenhoferIn a separate gallery I will show you the completion of the "wet", i.e. starting SRA-1. There won't be many more pictures here: the model is actually finished, and I will leave the pilot as it is. By the way, this is an old acquaintance: his twin brother is currently sitting in the Supermarine Swift! This one had to be reworked a bit with the scalpel. His head comes from a figure in the collection, hence the slight discrepancy in proportions, which I hope will disappear in the cockpit anyway.

Roland SachsenhoferHere are a few pictures of the progress of the water base: after applying and kneading the modelling clay, I coloured the surface once this morning with the colours you see at the edge of the picture. After drying, the next step will be to apply a clear model water gel... I'm already curious!

Roland SachsenhoferFinally ready! With the "wet" version, this double build is now connected. It is always a challenge and an adventure to try to realise a water diorama. Well, I hope you like the pictures; I am satisfied that in two editions I have once shown the unusual form of the SR. A-1 in the dry and at rest and secondly to have this rare bird in motion in the showcase! 🙂 All in all: thank you Xtrakit!
