Great finish! What colour did you use for this nicely faded aubergine camo?

Dear Pierre, thanks! I used Gunze H333 and 331 for the dark grey Camo. I also tested Hataka A230 and Ammo MiG-250 as an alternative, but no match for my reference as the Red-22 was very "used" in Syria 2015/16. Maybe Hataka and Ammo MiGs Night Blue are better suitable for newer looking SU34s. Cheers, Christian

Great job Christian, you really got the faded "Eggplant" upper color finish spot on. It´s a pleasure to see all the variations of fading & shading, including the "clever" ID cover-up of the red stars... 😄
I did the HobbyBoss Fullback some time ago, a nice kit, the Kittyhawk details appear even better in places - the underside riveting and particularly the engine nozzles (or were these aftermarket?) - excellent burned metal job on these! 👍
Great work over all, plenty of lovely details everywhere & a very realistic depiction of a real bird in all aspects! 👍 👍

Excellent job, the shading and sun-bleached parts really bring life to this machine, the color contrast between belly and Top side looks very interesting and attractive as well 👍

Wow, many thanks mates for your kind ans motivationg feedback!
Building and painting this one was a pleasure, although the kit is not easy and has his difficulties. You have to put a lot of attention to the instructions as KH has included some errors in there.
But the kit is worth the money, you got a lot of plastic and detail out of the box, as well as Resin Nozzles and a large PE-Sheet from the start. Nevertheless I added the Eduard Big-Set (designed for the Hobby Boss Kit), Eduard Resin Wheels and Temp Models' ECM Pods (SAP518 ) to the model as well as some scratchbuild (like the APU) for extra details.
Cheers, Christian😎

BTW, I used the new Weathering Pencils from AK-Interactive first time on this model...they are kind of magic and its possible to add so much extra paint-detail.

Michael, those AK pencils are awesome. I picked some up last time I was at the local shop.
