How was the kit Martin? I received this just the other week and would appreciate any thoughts.

Hi Ben, it was the first car kit that I built, so I really have no comparison. But I found it very well engineered with even the difficult parts basically snap into place. I liked the chrome parts and also the chrome stickers as welL. Painting required some planning, but that is maybe not a price. Highly recommended!

Thanks, and the gibberish part of my reply above should have read "but that is not a big problem" instead of "but that is maybe not a price" 🙂

Nice work and imlove the diorama idea. What brand of figures are these? Did you modify them to make the pose?

@Lee: the figures are from Preiser preiserfiguren.de a German company who also provide figurines for large scale LGB model railroad. The scale is not1:24 but 1:22.5 (I believe) but let's these are very tall people then 🙂 The pose was almost as delivered with some minor cosmetic changes... It is their No. 45120 ("Gut angekommen" / "Happy return")

Really nice, work Martin. I really like the setting and the figures. Tells a little story, doesn't it?

A more peaceful setting, certainly, than any of the military stuff I did 🙂
