I have a similar idea of doing the same thing but for the carrier Kaga. I have the Kaga kit from Hasegawa and the Kate, Val and Zeke also from Hasegawa. I was going to call my display "The birds of Kaga" with the Kaga in the background with just the 3 planes on the flight deck and the 3 x 1/48 planes displayed in front of the Kaga. Some day <sighs>

Firts finished is the Aichi D3A1 Val type 99 divebomber, with the markings AI-251.
I know it's from the akagi. but i'm still researching the pilot/gunner.
