Unfortunately, a not inconsiderable problem arose with the Attacker - with my participation, but also caused by the kit: only when applying the decals did I notice that the dividing line of the two colours cuts right through the markings on the fuselage. This is caused by the elevator fins being too low... now I set them further up, but mainly in the rear part, the leading edge remained in a similar, too low position.

I find the sight of the result so unbearable that after a day of thinking I have come to the following course of action: I will repaint the fuselage, thereby raising the parting line and reapplying the markings with a new set of decals! The first step has already been taken, I have repainted everything!

Now the "Attacker" has finally taken wing! The model is now finished and in the best condition I could manage. Unfortunately, the kit has a few pitfalls and serious errors - and, well, I also contributed to that. In the end, most of the inconsistencies have been corrected or at least mitigated; the pictures nevertheless deal quite shamefully with the wrong colour separation line on the tail/tail fins 🙂
