Awesome work on this flying boat aircraft vessel thing 😄 ever since reading an article in a scientific magazine about these things I've been interested. Did not know there was a kit available. Great job on yours

My god what a beast. 51cm long in 1:144 that's amazing. Did the Russians actually ever used them?

Thanks, Villiers and Alex 🙂
@Robert - surely, few such monsters were constructed and on prolonged trials, some of them were on active duty, but only on Caspian Sea, as far as I know:
Book: Russia's Ekranoplans (by Sergey Komissarov)

Thank you, Łukasz 😉 Generally, yes - the kit is well executed, no fit issues (save windscreen), but I would advice to think over the order of assembly before glueing any parts together (installing the propeller and guns is a bit tricky). Only the nose intakes need some effort to get rid of prominent joint lines (if one cares here 😉 ) All in all a fun and quick build.

It seems that we both have quite a common interest, John - I already have assembled Amusing Hobby's Triebflugel and AMP's Silbervogel 😉 and I am very sorry that Kalinin K-7 is too expensive to explain it to my wife 😉 ...

Hmm, it is way too expensive, even for a Christmas gift, Bruce 🙁 ... (not mentioning that this is a MikroMir kit...)

Model assembled as a gift for my friend. I know that gray is too dark and too blueish, but...he liked it 😉
