Thanks Rui, I've only done sculpting a scant handful of times long ago but it is fun, I can see me doing a few more 🙂

Well it ended up being a bit of disaster in the end 🙂
Oh well, was never gonna last but I learned some stuff like how to make a few home made tools and how you really need to carve it one go and not leave it over night to go mushy 🙂

Covering it with PVA glue to preserve it doesn't the surface is simply too moist to allow the glue to dry properly and no, talcum powder didn't help the glue dry either really, if anything it probably accelerated the rot :/ oh well....

The way to preserve it apparently is to soak it in bleach water for 30 minutes after carving and then rub Vaseline all over it, and even then life expectancy is still relatively short..... Anyhow, fun to do though, I'm gonna go and get another pumpkin soon 😄
