No I airbrushed an intermediate layer with paint sprinklers.
1st layer: Preshading
2nd layer: paint sprinklers
3rd layer: green in several thin layers.

Although 50 years old, this is still a nice kit; and being so cheap, it's a great choice to practice new modeling techniques.

Tamyia kit of the aircraft Mitsubishi A6M5c in 1:48 scale.

My second kit after 30 years break.
There is still room for improvement here and there.
But on the whole, the model is quite successful.

In the meantime I have a little more practice. I think I'm better than with the first kit. But look for yourself.
