1/72 Leopard 2A4 Can, Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians)
Details on the green A6 hull are more refined , the tools are in the right places and the rear camera system is already installed.
Driver's section can't be changed easily to A4 standard, so ...
fltr: Revell 2A4, T-Model Abrams, Revell 2A6
fltr: T-Model Abrams gun, Revell 2A4, Revell 2A6
Plug and play - almost.
OKB Grigorov wheels look so much better. The A6's were deformed in my rendition, the A4's looked too simple.
German engineering at it's best 🙂 The wheel hubs needed to be milled down, then carefully be placed and aligned.
OKB Grigorov tracks. Pretty good detailling on them.
Not easy, but could have been worse.
Thinned down the side skirts.
Revamped the front hull and the bullet deflector.
A small brass rod simulating the rear skirt hinge. Opened the two grip/step holes on each side.
Front camera (?) installed.

Wheels and tracks from OKB Grigorov, as both kit-supplied wheels didn't look right.
