Got both plugs ground down enough to get my 'burner can' substitute into the tail end. The white block is a support to superglue it into place and hold it.
Shoot! Wasn't paying as much attention as I should have and the backing I was putting on for the inner Main Landing Gear door shifted!! Well, lucky that I got plenty of scrap plastic but still more work...
Went to put a coat of paint in the cockpit area last night and the batch I mixed up was more an Olive Drab color than Russian Turquoise! That's OK - I'll find an instruction sheet for the Tamiya mix tonight and give it another go.
This old Revell 1/144 Boeing 747 stand will do fine as a stable mount for this little 1/72 MiG-21F-13! It wasn't until after I was almost done putting it together that I remember the Zvezda kits have a very nice stand that I could have used!!
