fantastic Job... Very Good authentic painting.... especially in this scale and i think the kit refers to the elder Italeri kit?
Respect

It's not the old Italeri kit; this one uses the new Tamiya tooling from 2014. Tamiya had an older F-16 kit in 1:72 which was based on Italeri.

Thank's mates!
Yes - Dan M - completely right - it's NEW TAMIYA KIT! Nothing commons wish old italery
>Patrick Hagelstein Did you encounter any specific difficulties?
Not at all. It's about PERFECT kit made by japan tamiya professionals.
Real pleasure to build it

Start it just now!
It takes me only 10 days to build this kit. It's really pleasure + no need to mix colors - may paint from the bottles.

Simply excellent! Stunning result. Made by the best brand, and assembled and painted by one of the best modellers 🙂

About the engine nozzle, it's easy to distinguish between a GE and a PW engine. The F100 by PW has 15 turkey feathers, while the F110 by GE has 12. So, Evgeny, check the Eduard nozzle for us, so that we all know which engine it is for.

No need to count🙁
It's easy to distinguish by form of slots between turkeys.
Eduards give an F110, not F100. For Block 52 not Block50🙁

![](/profiles/img/17422-305-s.jpg)
The F110 is for Block 50. The F100 is for Block 52. So if Eduard gives an F110, it is suited for a Block 50 aircraft.

Check the form of the slots.
It's completely wrong🙁

I see now Evgeny what you mean. The feathers, despite being 12 thus indicating a GE engine for a block 50 aircraft, have a completely wrong shape. Eduard tried a Block 50 engine and got the shape all wrong. You should ask for a refund from Eduard themselves. The Tamiya looks as it should be, at least on the outside.

Painting the sliding part a darker tone would probably be enough to fix it though.

I don't see the problem too.... The exhaust petals are spot on! As Pierre mentioned, the discoloration might put you off but the shape is perfect! The best I've seen in 1/72. Too bad Eduard doesn't do their 1/48 P&W F100-229 in 1/72 because that's a real gem too...

What Tamiya gives you is a fysical demarcation of the different colors, which in real life isn't there.

![](/profiles/img/23431-423-s.png)
Thank's mates. You right - I shold try to make demarcation of plates with color.
Next time will make it. But fysical in resin will be better and simplier🙂

Not necessarily Evgeny. Just look at different reference pictures. Those color variations come in a lot of different styles. It is a weathering thing with alters with age and different from engine to engine. For example the Thunderbirds P&W F100s were polished to a high sheen all over.

I'm sure if I search a little, I can find polished F110s as well.

Album info
My first 1/72 tamiya plane.
Tamiya it's really magic - it's self-assembly🙂
Eduard's exhaust - mistake. It's not Block50. Block50 - must be GE F100 engine.
But this exhaust PW F110 - like Block 52.
