I'm in! I was waiting for someone to build this in 1:48, What's your impression of the kit?

@Wim en Rob : It is an exact copy of the RS 1:72. Nice start, also with the garelli compressor.

Hi mates!
The fit of the kit is indeed surprisingly good. Here's a 'micro review' for Wim and Rob:
As usual with a limited run kit, there are no locating pins. The detail level and fit of the cockpit is good, the panel lines are fine and recessed. The details in the kit are rather crude, that's why I opted for exhausts from brass tube. The weakest points of the kit (in my opinion) are the joints with the tail booms and wings, front sides of the tail booms (part of the wing, split horizontally), and the wheel well for the front landing gear.
A great plane, I'm building the mock up for the Paris Air Salon 1938, The mock up was made from triplex, that's why the Uschi wood decal is in the project inventory.

benieuwd naar je ervaring met de Ushi decals. Ik moet zeggen, op kleine schaal vind ik dat ze teveel last hebben van pixels om een deftig resultaat te geven, op grotere schaal ben ik benieuwd
