February 2, 2021floaters glued together28
February 2, 202129
February 2, 2021Wing assembly is confusing at first glance, but after few minutes playing with all parts - it make sense.
BUT!30
February 2, 2021next step - adding parts 124 (4 small parts - basically bomb rack /holders). If your version is with them, they should be added next. Problem is, they were designed to go from the inside. I have figured this half way gluing the wing together so I managed to glue in two outer ones from inside, the inner two needed to be slightly sanded down and then they fit in place. Highly reccommend to anyone, who will be building this kit to glue them in first, before the main wing assembly.31
February 2, 2021and the wing is glued together32
February 2, 202133
February 2, 2021But they look good anyway.34
February 2, 202135
February 2, 2021The only small gap I had from the wing assembly is on one side, where I glued small strip of styrene and sanded it down to close the gap as much as I could. Fortunately, the filling will be minimal.36
February 2, 202137
February 2, 2021First parts of the engine38
February 2, 2021not sure if the part on the right is supposed to be glued in. Will have to contact the manufacturer. Photos of the test build are not showing that part used.
Edit: Ok. So I got response from MARS Models regarding the inner part 29). It is supposed to be airflow deflector (stamped sheetmetal part IRL). And, I will quote, "you can not use this part if you do not plan to open the engine compartment". Since I'm having the engine cowling closed, I do not need to use the part.
Also I would like to thank to MARS Models for the help and clarification. So if anybody from MARS Models is reading this - big thank you.39
February 2, 2021not sure if this is how it should look like40

February 2, 2021Now the, so far biggest issue of this kit (at least for me). Film for instrument panel.
