I wanted to find out which pattern looked better, a straight or a tilted one. Well, the tilted one I liked, but it was impossible to realize (at least at my skill level) so I went for an even simpler pattern with just four strikes

26September 19, 2021Reality. The shape of the submarine was just too uneven to have diagonal lines. In addition, the (useful) masks tend to be easily lifted with Tamiya tape which would have been a huge problem. (Obviously lots of small parts are still missing, as well as additional painting.
