Wow Hans, as a builder of 1/700 kits myself, I'm really impressed by your work! What a collection!

Thanks Gentleman!
This is approximately 1/2 of my present kits. The carries and Battleship are to large for the displaycases from IKEA.

Wonderful collection Hans-Jürgen! It's a great way to display them in the frames with the flags in the background.

I wonder, is it possible to buy a comprehensive set of kits for say WW1 warships, or are there some ships that never ended up as a scale model kit in say 1:700 scale?

High Treehugger!
There are a number of 1/700 kits on the market.
unfortunately most of them are made of epoxy and are quite rudimentary and expensive.
However, compared to the World War 2 era, there are much fewer.
Luckily there are more and more every year.
