Welcome aboard, mate!
I started this kit many years ago as a quick build, then I discovered that the cockpit color wouldn´t dry and the photo-etch turned not out as good as I hoped. Meanwhile the paint is dry and some of the ech parts are lost, so no more excuses 😉 , I need to get this kit off my shelf of shame.
The cockpit is now finished (some touchup needed though), the fuselage halves have been glued. Fit is acceptable so far, only a small amount of putty was needed.

I made good progress on the kit during the last days, it was nearly ready for the first paint coats. But while masking the canopy I broke the rear part. Man, that s*cks... 🙁 Does anybody know where to order a replacement?

Maybe you could try writing to DICKIE Tamiya Modellbau. They are the distributor of Tamiya I know that some of my friends ordered broken items. They had to pay for it but at least they could finish their model
