I also need a seat!
I'm still wondering if Trumpeter's tool or Revell's is better 🤔

Ok, lets see if it is number three... 🙂
Btw fit is great but all the interior is hidden afterwards as presumed.

Ok kets see which one will do it to the Dio.
The kit fits like a charme btw. Despite of some engravement failures by Trumpeter it is a good kit!

A great new project Daniel. As far as I know, Daser's Condor is not an Fw 200 C-3, but a C-2. The C-2 had different BMW 132H engines, while the Fw 200 C-3 and later were powered by Bramo 323 Fafnir engines. Externally recognisable by the different shape of the engine cowlings. This can also be clearly seen in the two original photos (pictures 2 and 4) at the beginning of your article.

Welcome Nicolas, Christoph and Mattes 👍
@Christoph. SO I have to look for 4 engine cowlings like those for the He 115?

![](/profiles/img/35974-561-s.jpg)
@Daniel. I don't think the ones from the He 115 would fit properly either. The cowlings of the civilian Fw 200 from Revell would be more likely, but they would have to be somewhat longer and also have an elongated bump on their undersides and a different exhaust system.

Very interesting pic 1 you have both versions on one plane the outer backbord engine looks a lot like the early hood style her in pic 2

Furthermore this book says that Dasers Machine was one of the first batch of C-2 with No0016 and had been named "Neptun".

It might get even a bit more complicated than that.
asisbiz.com/il2/Fw-2..or-Blueprint-02.html
The cowlings of the civil version with the BMW 132-engine differ from the C3 in a lot of respects. The cowlings of the civil Revell kit (Fw-200A) do not fit to the firewall of the military kit. The lenght and diameter (?) of the engine nacelle from the wing to the fire wall differs considerably between the A and the C3-version. Shape is different too. Unfortunately I do not have documents of the C2-version. So I do not know exactly how close or far away it is from the C3.
Right now I am civilizing the beautiful new C5/8-kit from Revell and have quite some problems to get the engines back to A-Standard.
Good luck. I am much interested in your further insights. I would be happy if you share it.

Hi Michael, thank you very much for your feedback and !information!
In my opinion the cowlings of the C-3 are easier to convert into C2 shape! The length is quite ok!

Hm what do you think about the cowlings of the Ju 86E-2 or the Do 17P They had the BMW 132N? bulit in as far as i know. But they look a bit too short.
