Colours of freedom

 

Cockpit painted and installed. Trailing edges needed thinning. I hope I added enough weight to avoid tailsitting... can flying wing be a tailsitter, btw? 😉 

I decided to correct the shape of the propellers' pylons - the kit's part on the right, corrected on the left. 

Primed 

Waiting for colours (pink undercoat first, of course 😉 ) 

Aforesaid pink... 

...and the magic of pink primer - only single coat of yellow! 

I have noticed that there was not such a frame in the real thing, therefore I am going to remove it - wish me luck! 😉

My very first use of Mr.Paint paint 😉 

I'll try to get rid of these unwanted leaks... 

Both national insignia broke when transferred, fortunately I managed to assemble them back on the model... A word of caution - Gauzy agent applied on the Mr.Paint caused some discoloration 🙁  

Undercarriage installed. It turned out that I put not enough weight ahead the main legs, so I sanded main wheels flat a bit to keep the plane level.
