Da bin ich natürlich wieder dabei, um den Bau eines weiteren super Modells mitverfolgen zu können.

Hi mates. I need some help about the carried weapons but I'm no Aeronavale expert.
On Brittmodeler I found a hint that the Etendard did not carried the included 600 l wing tanks. The weapon sprues contained a lot of parts but I'm not sure what to use.

I stumbled over this page, don't know if it's of particular help to your problem at hand though.
airvectors.net/aveten.html
Scroll down about a third of the page, the guy lists some loadout info there.

Thank you Rene. This is exactly the right website which I looked for. As a result I know now the correct course and ripped off some parts.

I need some help again: the kit provides 4 clear parts for 4 cutouts on the bottom of the fuselage. The drawing show only two but IMO that were no windows but cooling gills or so (pictures 16 and 17).

That would be my assumption too, even if the drawing had avery crude way of depicting clear parts, these lines look a lot more grill-like rather than glass-like.🙂

Yeah looks like grilles to me as well. And the old Heller IV M kit (not really sure about the accuracy of that one though!) has two grilles in that spot. exactly like in the drawing you sourced.

Hanno & Rene:Thank you for supporting me. Last week I finished the painting and meanwhile the decaling is completed: three days ago I received the only avilaible decal sheet of Carpena.
I discovered that there is a very big difference between the old version of Mr. Mark Setter (232) and the new version called Mr. Mark Setter NEO (234). The old version is a much better and unfortunately in Europe not available (because the EU Lösungsmittelreform 🙁🙁🙁 ) and so I ordered three bottles in Japan.

So far I haven't run into trouble with the Mark Setter Neo... And the other stuff is better? Nice!
Very tidy paintjob and decaling Bernhard.
I just happen to be looking up intel about french and british development in the 50s/60s right now... The etendard isn't far off 🙂

New research results. The kit contains wrong fuel tanks in wrong shape and without fins. Furthermore the instructions indicated wrong pylons: parts 80 and 81 are the correct ones.

Landing gear in place. It was a very tricky job: seldom seen a kit witch such a poor engineering of landing gear - alignment🙁

Got to stay on the edge with those instructions... You never know when they are a bit dodgy. Good catch!
The hydraulic cylinders seem to be glued in besides their intended mounting slot in the gearbay... But everything seems true and straight. Strange...
May I recommend the Italeri 48th scald 262 for the most perfectly done undercarriage mount? ;P

Scott: there are very interesting news about 232. Because this product is impossible to get in Europe I bought 3 bottles in Japan (!!!). The joy was very short: first I received an info that shipping via airmail is impossible and two days later I got a second mail that it is impossible to send this product to Germany via surface mail too. Now I'm asking myself what the hell is in this bottle? I've used this nearly 10years and I'm still alive 🙂.
Yesterday I ordered a second batch of bottles in Taiwan and I'm very curious if I will get this 🙂
bughunter: thanks for saying that: I specially appreciate this compliment from you.

Rene; many thanks for you helpful advice. It seams that French (naval) planes are one of your specialties...
