It´s time to show a few pictures of my new build. Planned as a "side project". This spectacular Fw-190 V18 representation deserves a few modification; for example I will not use the canopy with its much to thick struts, all four gun muzzles will be closed, as the V18 did not have any weapons built in.
Some recherche work gave hints for the painting; HB color suggestions needs some minor modifications also.

These pictures show the filling of the muzzles with cyanacrylat, which is followed by sanding the surfaces to such a smooth condition that the preshading can be sprayed on.

Da bin ich gerne dabei. Schönes Cockpit. Leider sieht man davon am Ende so gut wie nichts mehr... 🙁. Lässt sich aber hervorragend bauen!

Thank you mates! A few pictures of the V18 with painted surfaces, prepared and ready to have the decals applied.

Nearly done. The surfaces are ready for a final coat of mat clear, than all the sub-assembly will be attached to the fuselage. I am keen to see this model finished!

Finished in the end!
I have added most parts of Eduards "FW-190 Placards set", applied homemade position lights and brake lines, exchanged the plastic pilot-tube with a needle and holed out the ends of the exhausts.... In the cockpit I exchanged the complete interior aft of the seat with parts of an Hasegawa- FW-190; Hobby Boss would let this compartment without anything....
There is some work waiting for you if you would turn Hobby Boss V18 in a fairly life-like model. But I am thankful that there is a injected kit of the rare bird at all!
Thank you guys for watching and commenting!
