Ben STONEI've got this kit also but mine came with lots of flash, broken struts and missing booms. Looking good so far.

Kees KleijwegtIndeed mates, not an easy kit. Lots of sanding and filling required. One half of a float was that bad, that I decided to make it a waterline model. The detail is rather good though and the subject is great, kind of a Ferrari on floats! 🙂

Hanno KleineckeYes, it is a beautyful looking aircraft desing ! It´s a real shame that you can`t look into the box prior to the purchase, and for the rather poor quality it is far too expensive .

Choppa Nuttawow, I saw €25 and thought yeah that is expensive ! Then I saw €49 and thought that is ridiculously expensive !!!!

Ben STONEI bought one on eBay for $35au which included postage. Massively overpriced but I've never bought a resin kit before and I doubt their sales are anywhere near mainstream brands

Kees KleijwegtBen, I used Alclad 'polished aluminium' on the fuselage and on the prop spinners, 'white aluminium' on the prop blades. The props are obviously not fitted yet.... More pics to come

Kees KleijwegtYes Erik, different indeed. I like the Italian racy "feel" of it. Building the kit is rewarding, but also a kind of a struggle. For one it's really tiny and fit is poor in places. The use of a jig is inevitable and I replaced some resin bits with metal tube/wire.

I finished this little racer in 2015, but I think someone else took his or her model to Ried.
Because if you mean the German place near Augsburg (found it on Google maps), I have never been there 🙂🙂
