Always in for a good Mig-21 build, are you doing the OOB paint scheme or something camouflaged?

thanks Mike. Well..... I lost the decal sheet.... so I planned to do a camo to match my Mig-17 VAPF i finished. I bought a Printscale but I realized that I do not find any pics or drawing of an MF version camouflaged (PFM and UM yes) so until I find a good ref it will be metal.

That's a real bummer!
I think I would strip the primer using Isopropyl Alcohol on a paper towel and start again. See if you can salvage your masks first in order to reuse them once the paint is gone. And make sure no alchohol gets in the cockpit.

I experienced exactly the same problem on my Vampire a few weeks ago, also with that bloody AK xtreme gloss base.
Can feel the level of frustration….
Strip it off like Clement mentioned. Don't use something too strong. Isoprop Alcohol should do the job. So the paint comes off, but won't attack the plastic surface.
Keep on going, at the end you will succeed.
