Brushes next? Have you been testing distressing techniques, Robert? Watching with keen interest, of course 🙂

Thanks for your interest, Bruce. No, I have not yet tried such techniques - perhaps this will be a good opportunity... 😉

In fact, I would be much more happy to built the tank from "Indiana Jones: the Last Crusade"... But if you don't have what you like, you like what you have 😉

That looks a very interesting project Robert. I've not seen any F&A Minatures models built before. It looks very nicely printed.

Thanks for your interest, Ben and Gorby 🙂 To the best of my knowledge F&A is a new player. There are marks of 'layers' noticeable here and there when you look really close at it, but overall the level of detail is awesome...

Looks like some really nice print-quality! And one doesn´t see a Mk. VIII Liberty that often 👍

IMHO the quality of the print is superb, and the detail is fantastic, Tom. Still, I would prefer few details to be provided separately (like the security(?) rails above the rear fragments of the tracks. These are very fragile and brittle - I managed to break one 😭 - I substituted it with a piece of square polistyrene rod...

I'm afraid in the case of Mark VIII these were not for this purpose, Ben. First of all, the rails are only on the back fragment of the tank (I cannot imagine how such a beam would run through the front superstructure...). Second, notice the fact that the rails in Mark VIII are outside the tracks (please take a closer look at photos #5 and #6 above)

Could the rails be to stop the tank throwing a track when turning? The length to width ratio of the vehicle did cause it to twist the tracks when turning.

Like it!
Interesting vehicle, good looking paint job and the right measure of weathering!
What do you want more?!😁

My God, now it has been to the wars! Superb weathering, Robert. It's the total opposite to your pristine aviation models!
